Leona is an amazing singer. I can remember watching her on the X Factor in 2006 when I was 12. At first, I thought “nothing special here. She seems nice though” and then she started singing. from that moment onwards, I knew she would win. Week after week, I saw her grow as an artist and a person. I felt her pain when she sung Over The Rainbow, when she had tonsilitis, she managed to perform Lady Marmalade and blew me away. Then came the final which was magical. My heart beats fast every time i watch the results even though i know who won.

Then she went on have the kind of sucess you can only dream of. Fastest selling debut album (Spirit), her debut single A Moment Like This sold 50,000 copies in 30 minutes. Then came Spirit: Deluxe Edition and Echo. Leona’s story is a real-life fairytale.

Not only is she an amazing singer, but she is also kind and caring and compassionate. She thinks of others before herself. She loves animals and has managed to get a ban in place for circus animals. She has also done charity work as well. She also thinks of her fans and interacts with them on Twitter and also does Q+A’s and follow competitions. Leona is unique. She’s my role model and the love I have for her is endless. Nothing could make me love her less.

So I just want to leave you all with a video of an amzing performance. Happy means so much to me but this performance tugs at the heart strings and makes me cry everytime. You can see this song means a lot to Leona. The end bit really tugs at the heart strings when she collapses onto her knees and sings her heart out , her lungs pounding.

I would love it if Leona saw this but there’s a small chance of that happening
